Excellent Adaptation for Children I love this book! I did not intend to purchase it, but the ad made it sound interesting. I am so glad I did. The verses match the melody of the song and are child friendly and appropriate. One example shows a lonely boy watching other children play. The main character invites the boy to play which of course cheers him up. My husband and I sing it to our 22 month old each evening, taking the time to point to the pictures as we sing the verses in the book. She loves this book and will carry it…
Great book, though the copy we received is beat up The text of this book is fun and child-friendly, with a rhythm and message that my toddlers enjoy. It does a great job showing a variety of emotions and feelings as normal and part of a regular day, and of course there’s the natural appeal if you like the original song.
