Great purchase for all of us Since pre-K my son was using workbooks: 3 pages a day in pre-K, 6 pages a day in K, 10 pages a day in 1st grade. just the right challenge for our bright 2nd grader in a school with weak academics This book has been just the right challenge for our bright 2nd grader in a school with weak academics. She had lots of exposures to graphs, money, multiplication. This book is not good for learning new material (we taught our child multiplication using other books), but is great for review. It was helpful that similar types of problems appeared over & overOur child’s math improved, but more importantly, she gained confidence at doing the work on her own.

My son LOVES this book. It’s hard to keep a 7 year old kid occupied with anything besides a video games, but he started in on this book when he got home from school. We intended him to do a few pages, just to keep his mind sharp, and he kept on going for like 20 pages. It made him think but at the same time, he felt good that he got it. And QUICKLY! As soon as he finishes this, we’re moving on to the 3rd grade book. Thanks!
