Exceptional information I bought this book for both my daughter and myself because her 6 year old son has been labeled as gifted. This book is FANTASTIC. My daughter says it is like she is reading specifically about her son. It is well written, easy to read and loaded with information. I am sure both of us will be referencing it for years to come. The authors REALLY know what they are talking about. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a gifted child.

My first choice I ordered four books on Gifted Children this one, Living with Intensity, Raising a Gifted Child and Emotional Intensity in Gifted Students. The last one I have not read . This book describes the child’s behavior and also gives stratiegies to deal with them. I also loved the comment that often times “the parent needs their parent to help understand.” Having a gifted child is not easy and parents need support as well.
