I had a great deal of difficulty reading this book because it was … I had a great deal of difficulty reading this book because it was so on target! I could relate to this and it was difficult to ready the sad and troubling stories. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is gifted and was raised by narcissistic parents. It’s a tragic childhood drama that can take a lifetime from which to recover. This author did a wonderful job of capturing the “Drama of the Gifted Child”. Bravo!
Truth This is a hard read if you can see your self in the book. But itâs worth it
Miller was a brilliant clinician. This is a ground breaking book. It is not a pop psychology book, a how to book, a quick fix book. It is deep, profound and moving. Miller was a brilliant clinician.
