Help your child do his/her best on the COGAT!

Don’t risk your son or daughter being unprepared and underperforming on test day.

Your child must be familiar with test material AND be able to focus for longer than the typical 4-5 minute attention span of most young kids. This book offers a chance to do both.

Ensure your child is ready for test day, thanks to this book’s 200 practice questions. Make sure (s)he has acquired the mental stamina to focus on test questions with the book’s COGAT Level 7 Practice Test (the book’s “Practice Question Set”). Pinpoint your child’s areas of strength/weakness with the practice test answer key. Capture your child’s attention with bright, colorful illustrations and fun characters: 100 full-color pages. Help them pass the test, thanks to thorough coverage of the COGAT Level 7 test sections: Picture Analogies, Picture Classification, Sentence Completion, Figure Analogies, Figure Classification, Paper Folding, Number Analogies, Number Puzzles, and Number Series.

(Note: If your child will take the COGAT, please do not purchase our stand-alone OLSAT book also (they contain similar material). Instead, you should just select this book.)

Engaging young and boisterous minds with test prep is challenging – that’s why this book features fun characters, child-friendly themes, and colorful illustrations. Such engagement can help kids retain the information they’ll learn in this book – and then apply it on test day!

What are your kid’s dreams – to be a doctor, engineer, or astronaut?

Gaining acceptance to a G&T program or selective school could determine your child’s educational path – or even his/her future career.

Help your child dream big and take the first steps on this exciting educational journey and achieve their dreams.

YOU are your child’s best teacher, and this book is here to help!

However, I am a little disappointed. Yes- there are many practice questions and that does help get the child accustomed to the types of questions. However, there is almost NO instruction whatsoever. There is no analysis as to why a certain answer is the correct answer. That’s not helpful because sometimes I can’t even figure out why a certain answer is…

Well worth it! This has been great in preparing my 1st grader for the Cogat test. He was excited and motivated to do the problem solving. I am an elementary school teacher and think this is a great resource. With each question I would have him explain why he chose that answer and he liked explaining to me his reasoning. Many times it was in ways that I hadn’t seen myself, but made sense once he showed me his thinking. I could see his confidence building and his excitement. The questions seem to get more…

100 percent better than testing mom’s book So this is way better than the testing mom cogat prep book … It is in color and only has about 8 pages of instructions… There are about 30 questions for each phase of the test (testing mom had 16 questions)… Is it everything you need to prep, no BUT it is a good place to start… It will let you see (and allow your child to see) the type of questions asked… Then you can go online or to your library and find similar questions… Would I buy it again… Yeah I would … Is it an end all…
